2001 November NYC Ground Zero trip

Description: I traveled to NYC on business in Nov 2001, almost excatly two months to the day after the attacks. We came out of Penn Station and learned a plane had just crashed in Queens. It was the first plane crash since 9/11--it was accidental but everyone was really on edge and it made for a completely surreal day in Manhattan. We visited ground zero and got some stark footage of damage to buildings around the WTC, layers of dust still caked everywhere. Businesses still being cleaned up.
