Description: These videos were taken in Detroit, Michigan in early January 2007. Shown are the Michigan Central Train Station, an ominously large, ornately designed building...that sits vacant outside of downtown.
The second is the Michigan Theater...which wasn't totally destroyed, but gutted and converted into a parking deck. Such an unfortunate life for such a grand building.
These buildings are beautiful, and I wish there was something that could be done to restore them to their former glory...they are forgotten, but not gone.
