Description: The Urban Roof n' Slopestyle is a new concept in freestyle mountain biking. A competition inspired by freestyle snowboarding events that took place in Avoriaz in the winter it takes dirt and freeride mountain biking and mixes them with parkour to create a new style of street riding.
The competition was truly exceptional with the ramps giving the riders access to the roofs of the buildings creating a unique spectacle that was enjoyed by some 10 000 people.
Although rain slowed the start of the competition Tuesday came with clear blue skies and the competitors rode all day in an attempt to be the first ever Roof n' Slopestyle champion.
The title eventually went to British rider Sam Pilgrim who dominated a strong, international field over the two days winning both the best trick competition and the Slopestyle.
