Description: The Australian ANZAC Service at the Lone Pine Cemetary. The tree you can see is the Lone Pine. There are hunderds of graves all over the ground the service is held amongst them with tiered grandstand seating all around. Its about a 90 minute walk to Lone Pine from Anzac Cove and its all uphill, the terrain is so tough you really can't imagine how they fought a war in these conditions.
