Sedan Chair Procession

Description: Now a popular attraction at temple fairs, a sedan chair procession originally took place at weddings, when the bride would be carried to her husband's house, accompanied by very similar musicians. In modern China, this no longer happens of course, but the musicians still appear in funeral processions in the countryside, playing music with the same instruments. The video is from the Spring Festival fair at Grand View Garden (Daguanyuan) in Beijing.
