After getting a speeding ticket in Washington State, and finally getting to Montana, the driving got very enjoyable. Reason being, that at that time, the only posted speed limit in Montana was "Reasonable & Prudent". Which for me was about 100 MPH (160 KM/H). You can see the now, legendary "Reasonable & Prudent" speed limit sign, on the first highway overpass, in this video.
This video shows the mountains along Interstate 90, and then US Highway 93 to Flathead Lake. My 100 MPH driving was toward the end of this video, on the flat land. All in all, I'd have to say that driving in Montana, was the best driving experience of my life. Not having to be constantly, watching the speedometer is good.
