Description: Highlights from Miss Africa Denmark 2007. A show featuring African Footprints, Moussa Diallo, Katamanto Highlife, Kuku Agami, Sylvester, Hausfraus and of course the 13 faboulous contestants.
The event took place on 19th May. The ticket fees (DKK 60,000) from the event were in total donated to Danish Red Cross.
The overall purpose of the Miss Africa Denmark event is to gather all interested Africans, Danes and other friends of Africa in a celebration of the beauty and rich diversity of African culture. African culture has a lot to offer -- also here in the Nordic countries.
Miss Africa DK is not a traditional model- or beauty contest. Miss Africa is an ambassador of diversity and a positive role model. She helps extend peoples knowledge of Africa, and she bridges Danish and African culture. Miss Africa has something at heart and her positive personality voices the causes that she is passionately committed to.
Audition for Miss Africa DK 2008 is held in February. More info on www.missafrica.dk
