Description: ZACATEPEC OAXACA MEXICO is a town in Oaxaca Mexico on the Guerrero boarder a few hours North of Pinotepa National. Men women and children are commonly seen in traditional clothing during the year. The anticipation of Lent brings on ZACATEPEC'S CARNIVAL and costumes music and dance spirit the festive atmosphere of the street.
Bands of Mixtec youth paint their bodies and run through the crowds marking everyone with paint, eggs and who knows what else.
ZACATEPEC shared their special time with their North American guests as David,Candy, Mimi and Richard crashed the party. When David Gray sat down at the drums to join the local band the crowd enthusiasm was apparent.
