Very hard and bumpy landing near crash cause of crosswinds / windshear. London city Airport.

This Boeing 737-500 is on final approach to ENRO, Roros in Norway. Strong gusts but CAVOK. It is a tricky approach with only around 5000 ft long runway, which you should try yourself in flightsim! Here is some info on the small airport, http://www.onesky.com/airports/Norway/Roeros.html

S-Turns for spacing prior to landing. it was one bumpy ride

Cross country flying in a Diamond Star DA40 TDI - G-CDEK from Shoreham (EGKA)- Rochester (EGTO)and back. It was a very windy day and on approach to Rochester we were warned of severe wind shear. Watch out for a very near bird strike on touchdown back at Shoreham.

Aborted landing at Perranporth airfield in Cornwall. Note the turbulance/windshear experienced just before we reach the runway, hence the go-around!

Lagging behind the main body of storms this cell was always doomed, but it still shows the wind shear that was active this day.
