During the Vietnam war the Viet Cong maintained an immense network of connecting underground tunnels near Saigon. The Viet Cong could appear anywhere anytime for surprise attacks. The tunnels were secured by thousands of booby traps. Even heavy bombardement did not succeed in destroying them.

This is a visit from 1991 to the Cu Chi tunnels in Vietnam. These are the famous tunnels used by the Vietcong during the Vietnam War, allowing them to move secretly from the Cambodian border to the outskirts of Saigon, and the area in between. the cu chi tunnel was used during the vietnam war by the viet cong to avoid the american soldiers. the original entrance is so small that only a very skinny person can get in!
