The USS Intrepid arrives in Manhattan

After almost two years of renovation, the USS Intrepid traveled from Staten Island to her home berth in Manhattan to reopen as a floating museum. The Intrepid served from WWII to 1974 and opened in 1982 as a museum. It will reopen to the public on Nov. 8.
