Travel Videos 365 - BETA version 1.02

Filmed on 10 April. I thought I would do a video between St Pancras and Cricklewood sidings. I was riding on a 100 MPH class 319 to Bedford.

This is a movie showing SRT loco 4106 hauling some carriages though the carriage sidings. Also shown is SRT loco 4503 arriving with a train to the deep south of Thailand. This is a GE locomotive. Visit http://thaitransit.blogspot.com/

On a sunny Thursday 27th March 2008, Talyllyn Railway's steam loco No. 3 running as 'Sir Handel' arrives at Quarry Siding loop with the 3.00 p.m. Nant Gwernol to Tywyn service. As the camera's battery ran out shortly after I was unable to capture the up train at this point, and I really must get a tripod to avoid camera shake when waving at the train!

Came sneaky from behind

Converted from VHS video taken in February 1998. A long rail carrying train passes Woodford siding and under US58 overpass, followed by an Intermodal train filmed at the other end of the siding.

The Skeena Train is put in sidings to allow passing freight trains. View as they pass and the Skeena leaves the sidings

1 southbound BNSF manifest train meets 2 UP re-route train at Lockit OR siding on the BNSF Oregon Trunk Sub. This was taken from a 1300' peak overlooking the Deschutes River. I may post brief video of the other UP train.

A NB CSX auto rack train takes the siding at Mango FL for the NB Silver Star with Georgia Railroad #300 on the rear to pass on it's way to Tampa FL 4-27-08

Here's the FULL story! Train parked in siding over night. Driver prepared unit in the morning, paddle left in window from the previous night to indicate hand brake on. While train air brake was charging / pumping up driver left train to do other things. When the train brake reached pressure it automatically releases.... more
