This is between Smith Falls and Monkland Ontario, west of Montreal during the ice storm in January 1998. This line was shut down for two weeks during this ordeal. Continuation from SRS #2, going down a 2% grade I believe. Mountain on one side, air on the other.

Arriving in North Vancouver, after going through the yard, we get a brief tour of the 2860 and the 3716 at the shops. Again, I apologize for crapy video.....I should break out the digital 8 bnsf stuff again.

You could imagine ten hours a day or so, at this testing speed of 7-13 miles per hour, being a very long day. Most of the time it was.
