Boys from Djarragun College, a school for indigenous students near Cairns, Far North Queensland, perform dances from Murray Island in the Torres Strait during a performance at the Sound Shell in Cairns. They do "Au meta lug bawki" (about Calm weather and sea) and "A.T. up" (about the Hammersley Iron Train, on which some Islander men used to work).

Malukazil, a Torres Strait Islander dance group from Erub (Darnley Island) performs two traditional dances: a "play dance" called Sabem nakwe and Zorm Kolbe kolbe (In the afternoon). They are joined by two boys from the Djarragun Dancers and are accompanied by singing and drumming; at the Sound Shell in Cairns during celebrations commemorating Mabo Day.
