New York City Subway Ride, The Nostalgia Train, ran from 2nd Avenue to Queens Plaza on the F line. Some of the cars came into service in the early 1930's. Enjoy the ride.

The 6 car set of R1/9's in service on the V line between Queens Plaza and Lower East Side-2 Av/Houston St. 53 St/ 6 Av Local. Here, the set is traveling via the 53 St Tunnel between 23 St-Ely and Lexington Av.

Fred & I became kids again, if not for an hour. We rode on the Nostalgia Holiday Special on the last Sunday in December -- the last day this antique train would run. TOO MUCH FUN!!

Twenty years ago Wednesday (03-28-1987) I was in Palmdale and shot this vid of the Palmdale Plaza. For YEARS Palmdale Plaza was the HUB of Palmdale, with Don Hertel Drugs and Woolworth stores, not to mention J.C. Penny. I know that Palmdale has changed dramatically and I would really love to know how the Plaza looks.... more
