Monument Valley is an amazing place.... unfortunately its in the middle of the Navajo nation... the crime element of which always make me as a lone traveler uncomfortable.

This Monument, near Marquette, Iowa and across the Mississippi River from Prairie du Chen, Wisconsin, has some of the best preserved effigy mounds in the Midwest.
