Soldiers Changing Ceremony

This is an excellent example of classical Ming Dynasty architecture, dedicated to the fallen heroes of Taiwan's wars. There is an hourly changing of the guards ceremony at the entrance which many people find interesting. (Footage taken September 2008)

Changing of the ceremonial guards takes place daily between 9 am and 4 pm at the Martyr's Shrine in Taipei. Look at how these smartly dressed soldiers march to take up their new positions.
