If you go to New York, one of the things you might want to do is try the street food. On every block and street corner you will find food vendors selling pretzels, hot dog, shish kebab, fruits, peanuts...you name it. Hasan, who is featured in this video clip is located right outside the MOMA off of 53rd Street between 5th Avenue and Madison.

Desis in USA come from different parts of India. I caught up with a newly arrived immigrant from Punjab, India at the heart of desi land: Jackson Heights in Queens, New York. What struck me was his sentence, "Aapni country, aapni hoti hai." This video clip is in Punjabi and my Punjabi is really rusty!
