The American Institute of Architects, in celebration of its 150th anniversary, worked with Google to create 3D models of the top 150 most popular architectural sites in America. This video demonstrates the new "Sky" feature of Google Earth 4.2 just released on August 22, 2007 . It lets you look up at the night sky and zoom in on photographs taken by powerful telescopes like the Hubble Space Telescope. It also provides placemarks to cool things you can see in the universe.

A new feature in the Google Earth 4.2 beta allows you to view photos in a really cool new way. They also have a new layer under "Featured Content" called "Gigapxl Photos" which lets you view very high resolution photos with the new technique.
