a trip out to the balcony to view this year's experiment in decadent gardening. a few outdoor plants like these are allowed....anything more is seen as an illegal commercial enterprise. even if you don't smoke it-like us-growing it like this has great symbolic value....and makes a great conversation piece for friends who visit from overseas....
