Whale watchers on Monterey Bay, California encounter a friendly humback whale who spends hours with the whale watch boat. The whale rolls and looks and then extends its pectoral fin to the people. This video is part of a BlueVoice.org effort to stopJapan's hunting of humpback whales.

This was our 1st stop on our cruise onboard Royal Caribbean's Majesty Of The Seas. This was taken completely by chance! I left Joel at the beach bar & headed towards the water to capture the surrounding beauty. Little did I know, I wasn't ALONE in the water!
