I was fortunate enough to catch a tourism promotion demonstration for Iloilo City's Dinagyang Festival at Greenhills Shopping Center in Manila. Watch as colorfully dressed and painted "natives" dance on the street to the rhythmic and energetic beat of drums.

Tribu Paghidaet is one of the 20 tribes that participated in the very successful Dinagyang 2008. This "tribe" was voted as the Grand Champion of the event. Dinagyang is an event in Iloilo City, Philippines which is held every last Sunday of January. (Video was taken with a still camera - Sony DSC-T200 - on video mode.)
