coroico is a small town in yungas province, about 3 hours drive from la paz. yungas is famous for the coca plants and a small afro-bolivia community live here since 16th century.

Trip between La Paz and Coroico, starting at 3500 meters altitude (La Paz), reaching 4460 (mountain pass)and then dropping to under 1000 meters altitude.
