Day 3 was bitter sweet as we hiked out to the trail head after 3-days camping. But hamming on the mesa was the pinnacle of our adventure! Adventure Radio Society hosts an annual QRP contest event called Filght of the Bumble Bees. The Bumblebees walk, hike, bike, climb or boat to their sites. Purpose is to encourage outdoor radio activity and have fun. Home stations are welcomed to participate as well. Dave -NK0E, goats and I had a great time!
