BTS Sky Train, this train is running through Bangkok and is one of the best urban mass transport systems I have ever seen. You will get to see a mix from different locations. First of all trains arriving at Phrom Pong, then from the inside the train between Ratchathewi und Phaya Thai Station. It will you give a good impression on how the trains are running. Enjoy the safe ride!

The interview is taken on 13th September 08 from an expat from France travelling through Saladaeng BTS Station regarding the political situation. Upon interview, he states that the whole city of Bangkok (except the protest areas) looks as normal as before including the tourists areas and the transportation. No troubles at all.

This is a step by step video of how to use the BTS (SkyTrain) in Bangkok. Hopefully a slightly better version thna the first one I uploaded. The BTS is a great way to get around greater Bangkok. On my last trip in November 2008 it looked like the tracks were being extended to the new airport ..... can't wait for that to happen.
