Many movies and tv shows have been filmed in Bronson Canyon in the Griffith Park area of Los Angeles. The old Batman tv series, The Searchers, Army of Darkness, Ride the High country to name a few. This video is a tribute to the location and those features.

Bronson Caves in Griffith Park, high above Los Angeles is where they filmed Army of Darkness, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) and Star Trek 6 among others. Jon & Dori, on their trip round various movie locations, find the cave, explore and re-inact Bruce Campbell's final AOD moments.

The opening scene from 1966's Dimension 5. It's not a good movie, but you get a very good look at the Bronson Canyon area. The convertible turns onto the actual dirt road that goes up to the canyon. You see actor Jeffrey Hunter run into the "Batcave" entrance, run out the "Robot Monster".... more

Video from day 10 of my 2007 vacation. Lake Bronson, the only lake in Minnesota's Kittson County, was created in the 1930s when a dam was built along the South Branch of the Two Rivers. The lake took its name from the nearby town of Bronson, which itself was later renamed Lake Bronson to reflect its close proximity to the lake.
