Ant Atoll, in Micronesia, where I spent memorable weekends as a child is a canoe ride offshore of the verdant island of Pohnpei, where we lived in the late 1940's. I remember the vast turquoise lagoon surrounded by the coral atoll with brilliant, full moon nights, on the beach sands in warm and balmy air.

Snorkeling in the Maldives, Helengeli Resort in 2008. Was a great holiday, one week of paradise. I saw even sharks but nothing too big.
