Travel Videos 365 - BETA version 1.02

While traveling in the south island of New Zealand, my friend Leapin' Louie Lichtenstein and I visited Peter Jack, a whip maker who lives in the south island. He gave us a demonstration of what can be done with whips, and some lessons on how to use them. I am now the proud owner of a whip.

This is some kind of traditional Swiss custom involving men swinging cowbells in a rhythmical parade about town. Apparently it's to scare away evil spirits before Saint Nicholas day. I don't know what the whips are about other than they make a cracking loud noise!!!

(this is a little while ago, now i am at the point of making the firecracker "owe my ears are bleeding" sound a lot more often.)
