The Wayfarer visits Saratov, one of the major Russian cities and ports on the Volga river. He's not very successful in parachute jumping session but demonstrates his skill participation in a puppet theater show. Restaurant with German cuisine, trolleybus workshop and flour factory are also on his way.

The Wayfarer sets out on his journey to the Republic of Bashkortostan. There he'll find out how to get power from steppe winds and what horse's milk tastes like. Wayfarer visits Yaroslavl, a quiet old town not far from Moscow. He tries on national costumes, visits an ancient cloister and meets the city mascot -- a bear. All the secrets of Yaroslavl, including the secret of producing traditional Russian shoes -- valenki - will be revealed by Martyn Andrews, the Wayfarer.

Novosibirsk is the third largest city in Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg and definitely the largest one in Siberia. A lot of discoveries are waiting for the Wayfarer there: from a perfect railway system and the train museum with an exceptional collection of steam engines, to wonderful botanical gardens, and a fox-breeding factory.
