I went a surf trip to Tortola in Jan 2006, my best friend John couldnt make it so that i why you here the references to "John" in the vid. There are a bunch of numbered segments to this vid of a swell that was arriving in the morning and then shot throughout the day. The swell never got as big as the weather service predicted but it still got to about 8 foot faces.

This is a video taken on the drive from Long Bay to Smugglers Cove on Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. The road is unpaved and a back breaker when driven with a four wheel drive vehicle. This video was made on December 25, 2007 holding a camera in my right hand and steering with my left.
