There are still 27 houseboats, boats on floats on the mud, but eventually all will be brought up to code. I spent a night or two out here a long time ago, maybe it was just a nap. I can't remember. But I didn't sleep in a houseboat. It was a steel shipping container. Less than a hundred yards away are houseboats starting at $700k.

The tide coming in. We almost got wet a couple of time. We moved about 4 times. The humming in the background is my husband listining to his music player. I told him I didn't know how he can come to the beach and block out the sound of nature with music. He told me that he still hears it.
