The new Cunard cruise ship MS Queen Victoria left Southampton, England for her maiden voyage on 11 December 2007. These are images taken from Mayflower Park on the day she sailed, and footage of the fantastic firework display over Southampton Water on her departure.

QM2 leaving Southampton docks at about 9pm as she was late going out, she blasting out her ships horn and passes Hythe Pier which you see the Hythe Pier Railway train.

Cunard's QE2 is moved away from her berth by tug boats before sounding her mighty fog horn and departing on her cruise. Video of Royal Caribbean Lines Cruise Ship "Navigator Of The Seas" which left Southamptons 101 berth to go out on a cruise, she will be a regular visitor to Southampton as she will be based in Southampton throught the summer of 2007. She also blasts out her horns which are very loud. This view was taken from Town Quay just after 5pm.

Royal Caribbean Lines latest Cruise Liner "Liberty of The Seas" entering Southampton docks fresh from Turku in Finland, it is the sister ship of "The Freedom Of The Seas" which was in Southampton last year. This clips shows as it passes further past Town Quay and turning to berth 101 by Mayflower Park.
