Sandinista rabble on their way to celebrate the anniversary of the revolution.

Commemorating the end of hostilities in León during the 1979 Nicarguan revolution, an annual march leaves the central park of León, crosses the city, and ends at the old fort outside of town which was the last holdout of National Guard forces in the area. The event is also a political rally for the Sandanista party.
