I've noticed when I fly into San Diego, that the approach to the airport requires planes to fly in just over the tops of many, many buildings on the downward slope of a hill in the flight path, so here's how it looks from various views on the ground. Photo's of Avianca Flight 52 2 days after the crash 1-25-1990. 158 people were aboard and 85 survived (They ran out of fuel, so there was no fire, a lot of survivors). I live very close to where the plane crashed. I will never forget the sound as the plane coasted by and then crashed. I didn't go to see it but.... more
