St Petersburg is a very beautiful city!

A complicated system with its own maintenance crew and guard. Old mechanisms which have worked for almost a hundred years. The cause of traffic jams and a major tourist attraction in one go. And a good excuse to go for a night-long walk. The beauty of the draw bridges of St. Petersburg is the focus of our XL Report.

Considered to be the largest and oldest MLK parade, I ran out of GB on my digital camera before the parade even ended. At least 100,000 people stood along the 1.5 mile or so stretch of parade route in downtown St. Petersburg to watch the parade that honors Martin Luther King, Jr. and this day. This is part 1.... more
