Jersey in the Channel Islands's has a floral parade that is one of Europe's largest. The Battle of Flowers is the highlight of the summer calendar. Over 30,000 people watch, over 10,000 people are involved with the event. Some people have likened it to a small slice of the Rio Carnival in the British Isles.
