Last weekend I enjoyed a trip to the famous Izaak Walton Inn near Waterton Glacier Park, in Essex, Montana. The trip their aboard the Empire Builder was great, and the Inn was even better. Escape to Essex... a trip within a trip led us from the beautiful town of Whitefish, Montana to Essex on the Amtrak Empire Builder. Three days of relaxation at the Izaak Walton Inn recharged the batteries and the soul.
