N4bn Highrise, to be completed 2008

This is a fantastic looking NEW High Rise residence in a great part of Uptown, close to downtown! The lobby is stunning. So many amenities, including the exceptional pool, club house and more. I loved touring the model...everything was amazing. The hardwoods, granite and stainless steel are fun. Very nice entry way. BEAUTIFUL SHOWER AREA...glass and enormous!

I shot this building from every conceivable angle, and tried to show its proximity to the IIT Research Institute highrise (both about the same age), Sox Park, and the new construction going up on the north end of the former Stateway Gardens site going toward 35th St. They haven't started demolition on the highrise.... more

Over the years, most of the various businesses across State Street from Stateway Gardens and Robert Taylor (including the Stateway Deli) have closed down. Hopefully, under alderman Pat Dowell, that situation will be reversed.
