One of Yale's classes on the Tale of Genji and other Heian texts had the pleasure of visiting Kyoto at the end of the school year. This is a clip of part of the Mifune Matsuri dance rituals. Unfortunately, the last 10 seconds or so of the dancing is cut off, and the video is shaky due to being shot from behind a crowd at the river bank. Sorry about the balding guy as well.
