The New Year day was the coldest this season, the night temperature dipped to minus 7.4 degrees. In Fatima's house in uptown Srinagar all the water pipes are frozen. In the biting cold, Fatima has to go out to the Jhelum River nearby to fetch water. Worse, six to eight hours of power cuts a day are routine.

So, the camera work is a little shakey, but over all, these two talentented girls portray very realisticly the devestations of being caught in a fucking snow storm. THIS IS NOT A DRAMATIZATION (all rights to the title "when hell freezes over" belongs to a Mr. Riley Keenan, who ever he may be)

On April 7th, approximately 35 - 45 people gathered to hold 2 consecutive freezes in the Montreal area. With the help of the Improv Everywhere site, and a large group of attendees from EA Montreal and EA Mobile, this event was a huge success.

On February 23rd, 2008 at exactly 3:15pm, over one hundred individuals froze simultaneously in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery in participation of the World-Wide Freeze.
