The Whirling Dervishes are a sect of Islam taught to love everything. They dance while the musicians play. The Dervishes allow outsiders to view their religious ceremony. This was filmed at the Istanbul train depot (last stop of the Orient Express).

These are whirling dervishes from Damascus, Syria. They performed with Sheikh Hamza Shakur and his singing group. They are of the Sufi persuasion of Islam continuing on the tradition started by the famous poet, Rumi.
