NS 302 Thursday evening dropped off BNSF 4612, NS 8999, and BNSF 4403 at Remington and then the 70M crew went to Coffeen and brought the empties back to Remington where NS 72M took it to get loaded at.... more

NS 72M once again with consist of NS 9970, NS 9410 and NS 9977, with my good friend, Brad at the trottle passes me on a country road in Staunton to go to Monterey Mine to get loaded, 93 empties tonight and will come back to Remington with 93 loads where 70M crew will take over and take this train to Coffeen power plant. Temps in the 80's today, great day for train buffing!!

NS 72M with BNSF 4403, NS 8999, and BNSF 4612 with Engineer Brad and Conductor Gary make their way to Momterey Mine to get loaded and bring it back to Remington late at night.

NS 70M crew with Conductor T. Gunsiorowski and Engineer T.J. Blair unloaded it at the Coffen plant today. I did not get them on video because I went out to dinner ofcourse because I was hungry of all the railfanning I did. 70M dropped the train off at Remington where now the 72M crew Engineer G. Sanders and Conductor.... more

NS 72M with BNSF 4403, NS 8999, and BNSF 4612. Crew: ENG. G. SANDERS AND CON. G. SPURGEON make their way to Monterey Mine in Carlinville, IL to get loaded. 96 empties there 96 loads back to Remington. Then the 70M crew will take over and take her to Coffeen.

NS 72M with consist of NS 9681, NS 9855, and NS 9970 with good friends Brad and Gary make their way to Monterey Mine for the last time. Monterey Mine No. 1 in Carlinville, IL is shutting down and 72M/70M coal train will not be needed. Will miss the train, was a daily good video/picture train with good friends on it. Seen it for years.
