This is a short video I decided to produce to honor the 40th anniversary of the RMS Queen Mary's "Last Great Cruise" from Southampton, England to Long Beach, California and her 40 years in Long Beach. And YES I have re-uploaded this video... I realized that the overlaying text was not very readable, so I have uploaded a revised edition.

British Pathe Movietone news reports (in typically stiff-upper-lipped way!) on the celebrations held in Red Square, Moscow in 1957 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Bolshevik October Revolution. Features Mao Zedong standing alongside Nikita Khruschev on Lenin's Mausoleum. A great example of some of the impressive displays put on in Red Square durig the Soviet era.
