Although Mt. Columbia is a relatively easy 14er I some trouble reaching the summit because it was so foggy! Took me about 3 hours and 40 minutes, from my starting point at 9,880 feet (3,011 metres) because I was never completely sure of where I was going at times! Nevertheless it was still a lot of fun and got me that.... more

This is taken on the summit of Torreys Peak. Torreys was the second 14er hiked on this day due to its proximity to Grays Peak.

Uncompahgre Peak is the sixth highest mountain peak in the U.S. state of Colorado and is the highest peak of the San Juan Mountains. It is located in the Uncompahgre Wilderness in the northern San Juans, in northern Hinsdale County approximately 7 miles (11 km) west of the town of Lake City.
